RefsRadar is an independent research project tracking discipline, bias, and consistency for every senior football referee. We believe the officials are part of the story — and deserve to be measured with the same rigour as the players they whistle.
Every decision a referee makes — every card, foul and added second — is logged, normalised against league and season baselines, and surfaced as an evaluable signal. We do not rank referees by opinion. We rank them by what they did on the pitch.
A 0.2 cards-per-foul difference between two referees can swing a match, a table, a title race. Until now, that signal lived only in broadcaster anecdote. We turn it into a dataset.
All metrics are published with formulas, sample sizes and confidence bounds. We update daily from our data providers and cross-reference with league match reports. Discrepancies are logged publicly.
